Mara Scholarships and Mara Study Loans

MARA Study Loans sponsorship goals is to assist potential bumiputra students and qualified staff, especially in need of financial assistance to pursue studies at institutions of higher learning in the fields of Science, Technology, Professional, Expertise and Business Management as well as other areas identified by MARA from time to time.

MARA study loan assistance rates are determined based on conditions set by the Public Service Department (JPA), but subject to financial provision MARA. MARA sponsored study loans education is reserved for Bumiputra candidates only in accordance with the Council of People's Trust in 1966.

Terms of General Education Loan Assistance MARA

Candidates must be Malay / bumiputera Malaysians

    1. Has never been terminated or withdrawn aid assistance to any disciplinary action because of the sponsors.

    2. Contractual relief / refund if the delay was sponsored by the bodies to the previous studies.

    3. Must obtain study leave without pay / release positions / written permission from the employer for those who are serving.

    4. Healthy and normal certified by a qualified doctor.

    5. Full-time studies within and outside the country.

    6. Socio-Economic Status qualify as a designated family.

Excellent Student Scheme (SPC) (Overseas Sponsorship)

o Spm Graduate Program
The program is tailored to students who excelled in the SPM.

o Overseas University Preparation Program (Overseas Studies)
The program is conducted entirely in the country. Students who complete the program successfully and meet the prescribed conditions will continue their studies at the undergraduate level leading universities abroad.This program is advertised in local newspapers usually a month before the SPM results are announced (subject to change).

Overseas University Preparation Program (Study in Malaysia)

Students who complete the program successfully and meet the prescribed conditions shall proceed fully in the institutions identified in Malaysia.

# Studies Program at Institutions of Higher Education Outstanding Overseas.

     * First Degree Program for prospective post-Matriculation / Diploma
     * Professional program for prospective graduate Diploma / Degree
     * Undergraduate Program for prospective graduate Degree
     * Doctoral Program for graduate degree candidates.

This program is advertised in local newspapers at the end of each year for entry in before the session (subject to change). However, consideration of sponsorship is subject to the provisions of current and recent policy MARA.

Open Funding Scheme (SPT)

o Diploma Program.
+ Diploma in Technical / ICT in Germany atdc as Malaysian Institute (GMI), UniKL (BMI, MFI, MIAT, MIMET, MICET, MSI, IIM) and Kolej Poly Tech MARA (KPTM).
+ Diploma Partnership and private universities in the KPTM registered with the MARA.

First Degree Program.

     * First Degree in atdc
     * Collaboration / Franchise and private universities in atdc registered with the MARA.
     * Twinning Program of Foreign Universities in IPTS 3 + 0 registered with the MARA.

Professional Program.

     * Accounting - CA / ACCA / CIMA / ICAEW and other
     * Institute Of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators (ICSA)
     * Chartered Institute Of Transport (CIT)
     * Chartered Institute Of Insurance (CII)
     * Chartered Institute Of Logistics
     * Certified Financial Planner
     * Architecture Part II
     * Other areas that are recognized by the Professional Bodies

Masters Program / Post Graduate Programs.
Sponsorship for this program are subject to field / courses and meet the requirements and preferred criteria established by MARA, and got an offer in to the University related. However, consideration of sponsorship is subject to the provisions of current and recent policy
